Who we are
Josimah Baby Bank is a children’s charity that provides baby essentials, clothes, toys, travel items, toiletries, and baby equipment for babies and children up to the age of 5. We accept donations of new or excellent-condition which we pass on to families who need support. These items are a gift, given with love, from your family to another family.
Our Vision
Our vision is to help relieve poverty in our community starting this within the Reading and Wokingham locality and expanding our services to wherever there is a need across England as the charity grows. We believe every child matters and deserves the best start in life.
To advance and champion activities that have proven beneficial to the health of the new-born and mothers include educating on breastfeeding, safer sleeping, running support groups for new mothers to promote positive mental health, and other similar activities.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make it easy and convenient to help each other thrive and blossom in our community through the donation of pre-loved items. Encouraging people to donate their pre-loved baby items still in good condition so they are given a second life instead of disposing of them.
We also aim to promote safe sleeping by providing a Moses basket or sleeping aid with a mattress to new families who do not have one.
